Vista
is a 45 million dollar high-end luxury
residential development featuring
large single-family estate homes.
Developers, R. Knick Myers and brother,
Noah L. Myers set out to create a
subdivision that emphasized natural
beauty and high quality construction,
all within a family oriented setting.
Vista is strategically located on
one of the most beautiful properties
in the heart of prestigious Farragut,
Tennessee. Vista features a spring-fed
lake, extensive sidewalks and walking
trails, breathtaking views, and a
mature orchard. The property sits
on a private ridge directly south
of Willow Creek Golf Course and is
one of the highest points within the
town of Farragut.
The Myers Bros.
retained the engineering services
of Jordan, Jones, & Goulding of
Knoxville and the land planning services
of Franzman/Davis & Associates
from Atlanta to assist them in realizing
their goal of creating a very natural
and private development. The firms
were chosen based on their past experience
with such developments as the Augusta
National Golf Club, Burnt Pines and
The Dunes Golf Course in Sandestin,
Florida, and Cullasaja Club in Highlands,
North Carolina. Their accomplishments
with such award-winning "green"
developments proved to be the experience
that the Myers Brothers were looking
for to take the project from a dream
to reality.
Great care has
been taken to maintain the privacy
of each home site while maximizing
the natural amenities surrounding
it. An architectural review committee
is in place to review all licensed
contractors building in Vista to ensure
a high level of building standards.
Each proposed home must follow a thorough
architectural review process that
emphasizes beauty, a broad range of
traditional architectural styles,
and specific landscaping standards.
The mission of the architectural review
committee is to maintain property
values by establishing guidelines
for architecture and landscaping for
all homeowners in Vista.
