Myers Brothers
Holdings', co-founder, Noah
L. Myers, was born in Edmond,
Oklahoma and studied Accounting at
the University of Oklahoma. Prior to
moving to Tennessee, Mr. Myers worked
for the accounting firm of Osborne,
Price, & Hobby. He supported the Firm
partners in general ledger services,
payroll processing, sinking fund management,
litigation support, and tax return
preparation until he left Oklahoma
to start Myers Brothers Ace Hardware & Building
Materials. During his tenure in the
retail arena, he served as the Vice
President and Secretary, responsible
for the day-to-day operations of retail
hardware and building materials. Upon
the realization that the retail venture
was a success, Mr. Myers and his brother,
Knick, created Myers Bros. Properties,
a real estate development and management
firm.
The rapid growth experienced in the retail business brought positive attention to the Myers brothers. Their attention to detail, work ethic, and strong moral beliefs became the cornerstones for which the company was built. They received numerous accolades from Ace Hardware Corporation for superior retail practices and phenomenal growth. Despite the aggressive growth, Mr. Myers and his brother determined that it is nearly impossible to efficiently operate a retail business with progressive strategies while simultaneously pursuing real estate development and other ventures. Therefore, when a large retail chain based in Chattanooga, Tennessee approached the Myers brothers about selling the retail business, they listened. The result was that retail division of Myers Bros. Holdings was procured by the Chattanooga firm. This change in direction allowed Mr. Myers and his brother to dedicate a larger percentage of their time to real estate ventures such as Vista residential subdivision in Farragut, Tennessee. Vista was created to fill a niche for people who wanted large lots, park settings, great views, and tight restrictions in a private, convenient location. The development was a success and now host homes that range in values up to $3 million.
Mr. Myers has been a Rotarian in Farragut Rotary since 1996, as well as being active in the Farragut Church of Christ. Mr. Myers is a board member of STAR, Shangri-la Therapeutic Academy of Riding, and a board member of the East Tennessee YMCA. Mr. Myers is married to Allison McGaha of Lenoir City. Allison and Noah have a son, William Luke. The family loves the outdoors and traveling. An ideal weekend includes relaxing in the back yard and keeping his son out of mischief. Mr. Myers especially enjoys day hiking with his family in the Great Smoky Mountains. During the week, Mr. Myers is responsible for organizing vendors, facilitating municipal relations, and developing short/long-term financial strategies as Chief Financial Officer for MBH, Inc.
